Ron moved to the South Island and operated business in Heathcote for 25 years. His son Peter continued the family tradition, beginning to work as a butcher at the age of 15. His first shop was at the foot of Cashmere which opened in 1978. The Edgeware Road store opened 18 years later.
Peter’s son Chris took over at the helm in Edgeware in 1999. Chris trained in Kulmbach, City in Germany. Bringing expertise and excellency to continue Peter’s legacy of award wining sausages, bacon quality and exceptional quality products.
